1 Year Anniversary of Funding the Horizon - Thank You!

1 year ago today, Outrider USA successfully funded and surpassed our $100k goal to bring the Horizon, an all terrain adaptive electric trike, to production through Kickstarter.

Even a year later, we’re still incredibly humbled and overwhelmed by the support we received from our community, customers, fans and new friends. Together, we took the Horizon from a dream to a reality with your help.

In the last year we’ve been designing, building, testing, and growing as a company and as individuals. It’s been a fun ride and we’ve learned so much through the design process and communicating with supporters.

We are extremely grateful for all of your insightful feedback, and all the support we’ve received about fulfilling the original vision for the Horizon. We wouldn’t be here without you, and your help has made it even better along the way.  Keep those conversations going about how we can improve the product and the community.

Now, we’re ready to announce that Outrider USA is hitting the road this summer to deliver Horizons and let you experience the Horizon for yourself!  We’ll have a full schedule up soon...

7/09/15-7/12/15: We’ll be attending the No Barriers Summit in Park City, Utah this summer. It is going to be an incredible opportunity for people to try out the Horizon and we encourage you all to check it out if you can!

Also, if you’d like to connect with us before then, we’re hosting our next live chat via Google Hangouts on April 15, 2015 at 8:30 PM Eastern. We’ll be covering some seriously exciting Horizon updates and you can ask the team any questions you have about the Horizon or Outrider.

Our idea is to use this blog to chronicle the next phase of Outrider, including our trips this summer to deliver Horizons and provide an inside look at our work and products - and we'd love to hear about your adventures, too and you can contact us here

Stay Strong and Ride on,

The Outrider Team
